The Rum Runner is a family owned bar that has been local favorite since 1988.

There are three Rum Runner Locations:
All three locations welcome league teams. Current leagues include APA, BCA, Southern Nevada Nine Ball, and TAP.
Rum Runner Tropicana has 7 pool tables (5 Diamond Tables) and is home to the "Andy Mercer Memorial Pool Tournament" which draws some of the best pool players in the country and "The Doc Hill Memorial Tournament" which is for local B players.
Rum Runner Desert Inn has two pool tables and 5 steel tip dartboards. We sponsor dart teams and have dart tournaments every Friday Night. Grumpy's is also a full service dart shop located inside the Rum Runner Desert Inn.
Meet the Rum Runner Crew:
- Captain: Geno Hill - Originally from Tomah, WI. Geno purchased the Rum Runner in 1988 but never lost site of his Wisconsin roots. He has made Rum Runner a local favorite for the over 30 years.
- First Mate: Gordie - Geno's brother and the manager of Operations. Founder of the Glenn Hill Memorial Golf Tournament.
- Second Mates - Jim and Susie manage the Boulder Rum Runner with Susie managing the bar and Jimmy in charge of the food operations.
Andy Mercer Memorial
Every year the Rum Runner in Las Vegas Hosts this 3 day bar table 9 ball tournament, they limit entries to 64. The Rum Runner guarantees $6000 for first place and the additional winnings vary from year to year. (read more)
Doc Hill Championship
March 22nd kicked off the 2011 Doc Hill Memorial 9-Ball Classic at The Rum Runner. Every year the tournament seems to fill up faster and attract better local players here in the Las Vegas area. This year, the 64 player board filled up in record time and all of the local bars with Diamond Tables seemed to be busy with players fine tuning their game. (read more)
Glenn A. Hill Memorial
HILL MEMORIAL -- The Glenn A. Hill Memorial tournament is held the 2nd Saturday in June every year. This year was held on June 11 at Palm Valley Golf Club.
This Annual event is a local favorite and always a great time. The entry fee is $125 with all proceeds benefiting the Helen J. Stewart School for Handicapped Children. You simply can't have a better time or help a better cause.
